I am Dr. Niraj Jha, a healthcare entrepreneur, hospital management consultant, and EMS innovator with 20+ years of experience spanning clinical practice, hospital administration, and healthcare technology.
The Defining Moment
My journey into emergency medicine wasn't just a career choice—it was a personal mission. As a young doctor, I encountered multiple real-life situations where people around me were in dire need of immediate medical assistance, and I felt helpless. A drowning victim in my village, a man bleeding profusely from a jaw fracture, and a person who fell from a height — they all needed urgent care, but there was no structured emergency response system to assist them.
I realized that even the most qualified doctors might not be able to save lives in emergencies without proper training and systems in place. This realization led me to pursue a specialization in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), starting with a diploma in Ahmedabad and advancing through various certifications from prestigious institutions like Apollo Hospitals, CMC Vellore, and Wockhardt. I became a Certified Trainer in BLS, ACLS, and ATLS, earned an MD in Emergency Medical Services, and even pursued a Diploma in Pharmacy to bridge gaps in my medical knowledge. But despite all my qualifications, society still questioned me -
"Kis cheez ke doctor ho?"(What kind of doctor are you?)
From Clinical Excellence to Hospital Administration
Guided by my mentor Col Dr. A. K. Singh, I transitioned into hospital administration, where I could impact thousands of patients instead of just one at a time. This led me to study an MBA and M.Phil in Hospital & Health Systems Management. I went on to plan, design, and operate hospitals across multiple states, successfully managing hospital operations, P&L, and accreditation. (NABH, NABL, QCI)

Then came COVID-19—the ultimate test for the healthcare system. Ambulances were overwhelmed, hospitals were shutting doors, and people were left helpless. I knew I had to do something bigger.
That's when I founded Hanuman Care, a digital EMS-tech startup democratizing emergency healthcare access. We built a tech-driven ecosystem that:
Aggregated ambulances across multiple states
Launched India's first-ever Train Ambulance service
Pioneered the OLA Model for ambulances
Introduced E-Rickshaw ambulances for last-mile connectivity
Started Air Ambulance services for critical transport
Built smart ambulance technologies to reduce EMS errors and save lives

Personal Life – The Man Behind the Madness
People assume a lot just because I make friends easily. The truth? I don't judge people. I believe in connections beyond labels, and that makes me approachable. If being friendly makes people speculate, so be it, Now, let's clear the air — I married the girl I loved, and together, we have two amazing kids. I live with my parents because family is everything to me. And just because I'm a CEO, don't think I've outgrown my childhood — I still fight with my sisters and call her names. (Some things never change!)
Bollywood influences? Yes! The 1998 movie Bandhan left a deep mark on my brain, and even today, I live by the golden rule:
